ALOHA TOWER
A totally renovated historic seaport with lots of unique shops, restaurants, and bars. Trolley rides to/from Waikiki are available for $3 each way. The bus will get you there for $1.50 each way, busses #: 19, 20, and 47. A cab ride will cost you about $15 from Waikiki.


DON HO SHOW
Offers a night of romance with a full sit down candle light dinner and a night of romantic Hawaiian songs that Don made famous like Tiny Bubbles, and Pearly Shells. HAWAII RACEWAY PARK
A drag strip in Campbell Industrial Park on the West side of the island. Open street racing on Friday Nights, 6pm-midnight. $6 to watch or race. Call 808 682-4994 for current event schedule and directions.


IMAX HAWAII
Making you feel like you are in the movie. The specially formatted films play on a 5 1/2 story tall screen enhanced by 12,000 watts of wraparound digital sound. Choose from several amazing features: Extreem, Siegfried & Roy Las Vegas Illusions Show, and Hidden Hawaii. Located in Waikiki at 325 Seaside Avenue. Admission is $9.75 per adult and $8 per child. MAGIC AT THE HALE KOA
Features skillful juggling, spellbinding illusions and magic, and an entertaining evening of fun! Your evening includes a delicious all you can eat dinner buffet, salad bar, and deserts. This show is available to military personnel and their guests only on Tuesday nights. NIGHT CLUBS
Open until 4am. There are lots of nightclubs around Waikiki, from country western to rock n' roll. Erasure at the Hyatt Regency on Kalakaua Avenue and Scruples on Kuhio Avenue are popular for 20-30 year olds. For Honolulu's club, party, and live concert information call 808 956-9958. For Honolulu Rave Information call 808 591-3500. Another good idea is to ask your hotel activities desk clerk to recommend a club based on your music preference.


SOCIETY OF SEVEN
A singing group that offers a night of pop, country, Hawaiian, 50's & 60's rock n' roll, and impersonation. Show times: Monday 8:30pm. Tuesday-Saturday 6:30 and 8:30pm. $32 for cocktail show. Three dinner shows $50 buffet, $55 sit down dinner, $60 buffet. The $50 sit down dinner is only available at 6:30pm show. Reservations: 808 923-SHOW. They perform at the Outrigger Waikiki Hotel 2335 Kalakaua Ave.


ULTRAZONE LASER TAG
You and your team defend your base from invaders while trying to take your opponent's home base. They have a nice maze layout and each player gets a readout of their performance after the game. This is a great individual and family activity! It is located in the Lobby of the Ilikai Hotel at 1777 Ala Moana Blvd. $10 per person for your first game and $8 per person each additional game. Open 365 days a year! Monday-Thursday 10am-10pm, Friday-Saturday 10am-Midnight. This is good clean fun with no smoking or alcoholic beverages allowed. There are video games and snack bar area. HONOLULU ZOO
Home to many amazing endangered animals, a large variety of birds, primates, a petting zoo, and a walkthrough African Safari. This is an excellent family outing located about 40 minutes away from our home. Open 9am - 4:35pm daily. $6 ages 13 and over, $1 ages 6-12.


TANTALUS DRIVE
A great place to explore whether in a car or on a scooter! Drive through a lush green rain forest that opens to breathtaking panoramic views of Diamond Head, Waikiki, Punchbowl crater, and Honolulu. There are lots of great photo opportunities!


WAIKIKI AQUARIUM
Excellent representations of Hawaiian and Indo-Pacific marine life. Get a closer look of endangered Hawaiian Monk Seals, an endangered Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle, and lots of other amazing marine creatures. $6 per person for those 12 and over. The Aquarium is open 7 days a week from 9am to 4pm, except Thanksgiving and Christmas. It takes approx. 2 ½ hrs to view everything. The aquarium is located approximately 25 minutes away from our home!


WHALE WATCH
Ride in comfort on the 100-foot motor yacht American Dream. Sightings are guaranteed or you will receive a certificate for a free return visit. Cruises 7:30-10:30am or 3-4:30pm. $20 per adult and $13 per child 17 and younger. Call 800 400-7300 for reservations.
